The Shepherds had an angel
The wise men had a star
Both told the story on Christmas morn
Jesus Christ a Savior was born.
A wonderful sight the star so bright
Angels singing that Christmas night
May we hear and see for the rest of our life
The lovely music and a star of light.
Christmas should be a joyous time
Because beneath that bright star
A precious Christmas gift was given
To everyone both near and far.
Jesus is God's gift of love
Born to bring peace from above
May we all give thanks as we pray
And accept God's gift today.
"Jesus is a gift of love sent
down from God above"
A CHRISTmas prayer that Christ's great love,
His grace and goodness, too,
May fill your heart And bless you now
and all the whole year through.
